The Sabbath is a gift of rest in our overly-busy lives. More than a few worship songs and a sermon from the pulpit, the Sabbath was created as a holy pause from the busyness of day-to-day life. It is a divine rhythm of rest, a sacred pause where we meet God in stillness and intimacy. Yet, in a world that glorifies hustle and noise, true rest can feel elusive. The endless demands of life, the constant mental chatter, the struggle to simply be—all of it can make it hard to hear that still small voice whispering Love to us.
That’s why Selah: Sabbath Rest was created. This is your invitation to stop and listen—to step away from the noise and step into deep communion with God. Through intentional Sabbath practices and embodied prayer (that we call Physio Divina), we’ll cultivate a rhythm of rest that enriches your spiritual life, quiets the restless mind, and deepens your ability to hear and receive from the Holy Spirit.
This is more than downtime—it’s soul care. It’s learning to rest in Him as Jesus invites us to do (Matthew 11:28). Sabbath is God’s gift to help us weather life’s storms. Will you accept the invitation?

Slowly ease into your day with intentional stillness, connection with God, and soaking in the beauty of His creation within and around us.
As we spend the first Tuesday mornings of the month in fellowship together online, we'll practice the Presence of God through somatic techniques and embodied prayers for a deeper connection with our bodies, our Creator, and His creation around us. By grounding ourselves in gratitude and awe, we will soak in the abundance of His flowing waters of life to start our day awake to Him.
“The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.” - Psalm 65:8
Experience the profound power of nervous system self-regulation at the intersection of soul care as we explore the body-based wisdom of somatic practices. What to expect during our 45 minutes together:
✝️ Community: A place to feel seen, heard, and loved, just as you are, as a child of God. Join fellow believers seeking to experience His unforced rhythms of grace as a community.
🧘♀️ Grounding: Our experienced instructor will lead you through a grounding exercise to help focus your thoughts on your body, your surroundings, and God’s creation on a deeper level.
🕊️ Meditation: Soak in the indwelling Holy Spirit's peace through mindfulness and a guided body-scan meditation.
🫁 Breathwork: Explore the breath's power to regulate the nervous system into a state of rest through guided breathwork sessions.
🖐️ Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT): Your experienced instructor will guide you through a sequence of gentle tapping along the body to “tap” into our stores emotions.
First Tuesday of every month, 7-8am MT / 9-10am ET over Zoom.
A couple of notes in preparation for our time together online:
It’s early; pajamas are welcomed and encouraged.
This experience can be done sitting or lying down. Feel free to stay in bed or go outdoors into creation for this experience together.
You are always welcome to join us on camera but never required to do so.
No special equipment is required to participate in the somatic practices.
